Jisort Na Smartphone campaign

Safaricom has launched a new smartphones campaign dubbed ‘Jisort Na Smartphone’. The campaign targets mostly entry level smartphone devices and aims to drive data revenues for the Telco.

The campaigned is designed as a Bonga (loyalty points) part pay where a customer will pay Kshs 3,999/- while the Bonga points required for each phone will vary.

The devices cover a phone each from Huawei, Samsung, Alcatel, Nokia and LG. The LG Optimus L3 E400 was launched some few days ago but has been available in the open market. It retails at Kshs 9,999/-.

The campaign targets mainly the youth and young professionals. During the campaign, each of the devices will come free 200 MBs data plus 500 recharge voucher.
